Hitting Harry hard

(A team of Sun reporters is at the Republican National Convention this week in St. Paul.)

ST. PAUL, Minn. — VP nominee Sarah Palin wasn’t kidding when she said the only difference between hockey moms and pit bulls was the hockey moms wore lipstick.

Here’s what she had to say about Harry Reid.

“Harry Reid, the Majority Leader of the current do-nothing Senate, not long ago summed up his feelings about our nominee. He said, quote, ‘I can't stand John McCain.’ Ladies and gentlemen, perhaps no accolade we hear this week is better proof that we've chosen the right man. Clearly what the Majority Leader was driving at is that he can't stand up to John McCain. That is only one more reason to take the maverick of the Senate and put him in the White House.”

  1. Harry can dish it out, but the little coward cant take it. Sarah 'cleaned his clock', but she let him off too easy.

  2. 'Country First'??? or Alaska First???

  3. Old Punch Drunk Searchlight Harry the Dolt left his guard down and it will not be the first time he has landed on his behind and taken the count. Time for old Seachlight to return to his roots.

  4. Harry Reid says Sarah Palin's speech was "shrill" attacks. Does he think women are going to let him run another woman into the ground. Even the female commentators on CNN ripped Harry for that this morning. Look out Harry, this is your last term.

  5. Boss Reid has become the Rodney Dangerfield of politics and a disgrace to NevaDUH. And now cardboard cutout Rory wants to replace our worst governor ever with a worser one? I'd laugh if this pair wasn't so pathetic.
