Sun Expanded Coverage
(The Sun has gone on the road to listen to voters and talk to political leaders around the West. Reporters have been examining the economic, cultural and demographic forces re-shaping the region as they drove to Denver for the first of the two major party conventions the Sun will cover. This week they are at the Democratic National Convention.)
Just saw Sen. John Kerry. Um, not sure what to say. Here's a piece of his talk on the Middle East:
"I met twice with Assad in past two years. I came back from Saudi Arabia, where I met with the King, I went to Israel and Egypt, where I met with Mubarak and went to Israel where I met with all the players...."
There are references to Davos and the famous (to whom?) incident with Shimon Peres and Arafat (Kerry was there!). The South African sanctions were so successful because they were multilateral. (Kerry was there!)
Technorati

So what did John Kerry accomplish, other than embellishing his persona? He's an expert at doing that, as are most people who are filled with self-importance. Interesting how those personality types are attracted to politics. The cop slapping Cynthia McKinney is another good example. Come to think of it, Nancy Pelosi fits the profile too.
