Los Angeles Lakers +4.5 at Orlando Magic: $550 to win $500 : The Orlando Magic are suffering through a 10-game losing streak, dropping most contests by lopsided fashion. They fired coach Jacque Vaughn, and three of his assistants yesterday, meaning tonight’s game against the Lakers will be the first for interim coach James Borrego.
Yet, despite all this, the Magic are the betting favorites. I know the Lakers are equally bad. And I know betting them isn’t a wise investment. But, come on, Orlando is currently the NBA’s worst team. Betting basketball is all about playing streaks. The Magic’s recent record of losing speaks for itself.
