The University of Utah football team is expected to play another close game next Saturday, according to betting numbers released today in Las Vegas for next week’s games.

The 18th-ranked Utes, who this Saturday scored in the final seconds to rally past USC, are plus-4.5 betting underdogs at Arizona State. It’s nothing new for Utah.

Two weeks ago, they were plus-1.5 underdogs at Oregon State when they rallied to win in overtime. And last month, Utah played another close game, being upset by Washington State by one point for its lone loss of the season.

Utah, who closed as a minus-1 favorite against USC, has found its rhythm offensively with quarterback Travis Wilson. After playing two quarterbacks most the of season, Wilson led the Utes to scoring drives to beat Oregon State and USC to win the starter’s job.

Utah-Arizona State isn’t the lone Pac-12 Conference game oddsmakers think will be close.

UCLA is a minus-5.5 favorite against visiting Arizona, Washington is minus-4.5 at Colorado, and USC is laying eight points at home against Washington State.

Here are next week’s betting numbers for all college and NFL games. The lines are from the Wynn and Westgate Superbook.
