San Diego Chargers plus-9 at Denver Broncos: $550 to win $500 : The San Diego Chargers are one of the few teams to successfully execute their game plan against the Denver Broncos. As the Chargers showed the rest of the NFL last year, the best way to beat the Broncos is to keep quarterback Peyton Manning on the bench.
In last year’s meeting, the Chargers’ burned the clock with its run game, going on long scoring drives to keep Manning and Denver offense on the sideline.
While Denver’s run defense is much improved, San Diego has the confidence and it will again be able to control the clock. I’m convinced the Chargers have a chance to win the game outright. Getting 9 points is a great wager. Let’s go Bolts.
