J.P. Arencibia hit a three-run home run in the first inning Monday to lead the Las Vegas 51s to a 7-5 victory at the Nashville Sounds.
The catcher added a solo home run in the ninth inning and finished 3-for-3 with four RBIs, a double and two walks.
Kevin Howard added a solo home run for Las Vegas, Aaron Mathews went 3-for-5 with two runs and Randy Ruiz had two hits, a run and RBI.
Jonah Bayliss gave up one run in two innings to improve to 4-1 and Jeremy Accardo pitched a scorless ninth for his fifth save.
Las Vegas closes its four-game series at Nashville at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. It will return home Thursday to open a four-game series with the Oklahoma City RedHawks.
