North Carolina, Louisville top NCAA betting odds

North Carolina opened as a 4-1 favorite to win the NCAA basketball tournament according to odds posted at the Las Vegas Hilton sports book Sunday after the bracket was announced.

The Tar Heels, coming off a loss as a 9-point favorite to Florida State in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, were followed by fellow No. 1 seeds Louisville (5-1), Pittsburgh (7-1) and Connecticut (7-1).

The NCAA championship game takes place Monday, April 6, at Ford Field in Detroit.
