Asia Muhammad's run in the US Open singles qualifying draw came to an end Thursday.
The 18-year-old Henderson native fell to 27-year-old Australian Anastasia Rodionova 6-4, 6-4 in the second round of qualifying.
Muhammad won her first match on Wednesday, beating Jorgelina Cravero 6-2, 3-6, 6-0.
Muhammad will now compete in the main draw of the doubles tournament with partner Christina McHale. The duo won the USTA National 18s Hard court national championships two weeks ago to earn a wildcard entry into the US Open.
