Kaspars Kambala looks enormous in the ring. He is 275 pounds and at least 6-foot-8. He towers over his 220-pound opponent like a Rottweiler next to Chihuahua.
He comes out, throws a couple of jabs, and unloads with an overhand right.
Poor Ron Weaver didn’t seem to have much of a chance. He made a futile attempt to get inside. But that wasn’t going to work.
Kambala knocked him down twice in the first 2:08. He wins by TKO and improves to 3-0-1.
He had Richard Steele, the former ref, in his corner.
