Mike Tyson is here, sporting his face tattoo.
The ring announcer is local radio guy Seat Williams. He tells the audience this four-bout event will include a 15 minute intermission. Keith Kizer is saying that will not happen.
In the meantime there was a 45-minute wait to start as a pair of local guys filmed a taped TV segment.
Then Tyson spilled a drink all over the floor.
The crowd started to jeer. That was a bad sign for the Hilton’s return.
The first fight was over in 28 seconds when Detroit’s Chris Finley knocked out Denver’s Lynel Burton. Finley improved to 1-1 and Burton is now 0-1.
Apparently, Burton is the son of former light welterweight champion “Lightening” Lonnie Smith.
This card will be on something called TV21 later in the week. It’s unclear when.
