There’s a lot of women cageside who seem to be film stars of the adult variety.
Tyson Griffin came out to the “Rocky” theme. A beautiful choice. Straight old school. I can picture him punching frozen meat to prepare for this fight.
One thing that detracts from it is that Griffin is by no means an underdog in this fight. He’s -360 favorite, according to the sports books around town.
A little known fact about Griffin, who trains at Las Vegas’ Xtreme Couture: He is the only man to defeat Urijah Faber, the WEC 145-pound champ.
His opponent Marcus Aurelio wore my favorite shirt of the night. It said “Jesus didn’t tap.” I’m Catholic and cannot decide if I should be offended. After some consideration I’ve decided I’m not – at all.
