Joe Stevenson is up next. He’s battling Gleison Tibau.
Stevenson used to train at Cobra Kai on Highland Avenue --- the area behind Cheetah’s. However, he recently opened his own Cobra Kai gym in his hometown of Victorville, Calif.
Quick fact on Stevenson, who lost in his last fight against lightweight champ BJ Penn: He had his first professional fight when he was 17 years old. Pretty unbelievable.
At 25 years old he is already 28-6.
Tibau is similar. The Brazilian is 24 year old and 27-4.
Props to Tibau for using Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” as his walkout song.
Chuck Liddell walked into the arena at the end of the Koscheck-Lytle fight. He wants a shot at the winner of tonight’s main event between Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin.
