Quintrell Thomas is still taking his time, according to his former New Jersey Elite AAU coach Derrick Bobbitt.
"We've spoken and he's still taking time making his decision," Bobbitt said Wednesday afternoon.
Bobbitt said on Tuesday that he was awaiting a potential news on a decision from the Kansas transfer yesterday, but Thomas is still mulling his options.
The St. Patrick High product averaged 1.5 points and 2 rebounds last season for the Jayhawks in a limited role. His upcoming decision is between UNLV -- who was hot on his trails as a prep -- St. Joe's and Siena.

Former Kansas forward Quintrell Thomas, who visited UNLV more than a week ago in his quest for a new hoops home, could be making his choice known as early as Tuesday, according to his former AAU coach.
The coach, Derrick Bobbitt, was quoted via text on Zagsblog.com, saying on Monday that Thomas's decision should come "in the next day or so."
Thomas, who averaged 1.5 points and 2 rebounds in limited duty for the Jayhawks as a freshman, visited St. Joseph's first. This past weekend, following his trip to Las Vegas, he visited Siena's campus in Albany, N.Y.
Originally from New Jersey, the former St. Patrick High standout was recruited as a prep by UNLV -- most notably by assistant coach Lew Hill.
Since his visit to Las Vegas, multiple attempts to reach Thomas on his cell phone have gone unanswered.

Not impressed. Siena can have him.
What exactly are you not impressed with? The number of stars behind his name on recruiting sites? Or the fact that he didn't score 20+ per game for Kansas as a Freshman. Have you even seen him play?
No more bloody transfers. If the schollie is used for 2009, it should go to Latavious Williams, or JC's Gary Flowers or Ricardo Ratliffe. If none of these is obtainable, then hold it for 2010.
Actually, I take that back... I believe Ratliffe is a 2010 recruit... All the more reason to hold the schollie.
I think this scholarship would be better served going to QT than a juco, who you get two years with. Remember, after QT gets a year to learn everything at UNLV, they have him for 3 years, a la Tre'Von Willis. He'd be a very quality get. Trust me. He was simply buried by recruiting in KU's rotation. I saw him play pick-up ball with the current Jayhawks last summer when I was living in Lawrence. He held his own with those guys and is better than the numbers indicate.
Ok, it's officially tomorrow. What's QT's decision?
Ryan, What can you tell us about his game?
Well, ryphi, I've made the comparison before to Tyson Johnson, a smallish power forward who was a double-double machine this year for Wyoming. QT is very much in the same mold, though he might be an inch or two taller. He can get the gritty points around the iron, and he's a talented rebounder who's not scared of bigger guys. He also has a little bit of range. He can shoot out to around 15 feet. I'll tell you, a year of just practicing and learning in Kruger's system, he's a very, VERY solid addition.
And yes, we're expecting to hear his decision today, Craig.
Sounds like Bobbitt is now saying that we'll have to wait until Memorial Day weekend before QT makes his decision.
