Former UNLV guard Curtis Terry is close to signing a contract with a team in Antalya, Turkey, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
While watching the NBA Summer League at Cox Pavilion, Terry said he likely is a few weeks from solidifying a deal.
“Most likely, I’ll go out there and work out with them for a week in August,” Terry said. “I feel real good about it. I feel like it will happen. I’ll keep working out, do my part by staying in shape and hope for the best.”
He said other European teams have shown interest in him, but the most interest has been from Antalya.

Terrible Terry!
C'mon now Sufferin, you're way outta line. First of all, look up Antalya on your computer. It is drop-dead awesome. Second, making roughly six figures, and having the club pay for your housing and auto, is a solid way to make a living. It's commendable enough just getting a scholarship to play D-I ball. But to get paid to play? Terry has been a bit banged up in the past and did some time in the D-League last season. He's healthy now and poised to start making some real money playing the game he loves. He will be fine, in spite of how you may feel.
Hey Rob,
Sufferin Succotash, aka Rebel Robert, is a hater... pure and simple
I wonder what sufferin does for a living? Aparently finding ways to make a name for himself on message boards while living in his mothers basment. Yelling upstairs "Hey mom can you get us some meatloaf" lol!
Maa! The Meatloaf!! LMAO
