Longtime radio and TV announcer Glen 'Gondo' Gondrezick, who passed away on April 27 at the age of 53, will be posthumously inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association's Hall of Fame on Aug. 15 at the organization's 14th annual HOF dinner.

Godrizeck had undergone heart transplant surgery on Sept. 20, 2008.

'Gondo' lettered for the Rebels from 1973-77, spent six seasons in the NBA with the Knicks and Nuggets, and over the past 17 seasons was a radio and television analyst for his alma mater.

The HOF dinner will take place at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres beginning at 5:30 p.m. Among the musical entertainment for the evening will be Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature, and Kelly Clinton and Friends.

Individual tickets cost $40, and tables of eight, 10 and 12 are also available for purchase. For sponsorship and ticket information, contact Trish Williamson by email at twb@lvprco.com or by phone at 702-429-1623.
