Frank Summers was the only Rebel selected during the two-day NFL Draft over the weekend, some of his teammates will still get opportunities to catch on in the league as undrafted free agents.
The first to autograph the dotted line was Johan Asiata, who signed with the Chicago Bears. He started at left guard for the 5-7 Rebels last season.
Asiata, a Kalihi, Hawai'i, native, was one of eight undrafted free agents the Bears brought in just hours after the draft. He played the last two seasons at UNLV after transferring from Yuba College.
