UNLV-Louisville hoops on New Year’s Eve Day to air on ESPN 2

When Lon Kruger takes his UNLV hoops squad to Louisville for a New Year's Eve matinee at Louisville - the Rebels' strongest non-conference opponent - the whole nation will get a look.

The game between the Rebs and the Cardinals, which will tip at 3 p.m. local time, airing on ESPN2.

Also on Thursday, it was announced that UNLV's two Mountain West games on the 2008-09 slate which were still up in the air in terms of set-in-stone dates have been finalized.

UNLV's road game at BYU - a pivotal MWC tilt - will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. PST in Provo. The home game against Air Force will tip on Wednesday, March 4, also at 7 p.m. PST. Both games will be televised on CBS College Sports - formerly CSTV.

The only three game times yet to be finalized on the 2008-09 schedule are: Monday, Nov. 24, at UTEP; Saturday, Dec. 6, at Nevada-Reno; Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Colorado State.
