The Rebels begin practice for the 2008-09 season next Friday, in a FirstLook event that will begin at the Thomas & Mack Center at 9 p.m.
Ask Darger how the team has looked the past few weeks during limited workouts. He has been scorching the nets lately from 3-point range.
Or ask him about the increased distance of the 3-point arc; it doesn’t seem to have affected Darger’s accuracy one bit.
Inquire about the team’s trip to Australia this summer, about the increased expectations that have come with victories in consecutive NCAA tournaments or about the rich talent around him.
