The plan was to keep it a top secret until tonight’s announcement on Dancing With the Stars. But it’s now confirmed that British TV sensation Susan Boyle, who was the runner-up in Britain’s Got Talent, will be singing on tomorrow night’s results show.
Against the backdrop of ratings intrigue, our Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond has now revealed that dance partner Kym Johnson and he are fully determined to win the prized and prestigious disco ball trophy.
“We’re not giving up now we’ve come so far,” Donny said.” When we started out, I only thought of getting through the first week and then maybe halfway or just beating Marie by one episode. But now we want the grand prize win.”
Donny revealed that he danced last week while suffering from the flu. “It was extra tough,” he confided. “The room was spinning, and I didn’t know if I was dancing on the floor or the ceiling. I just willed myself to dance, but it was the hardest dance so far of the season for me.

“There is absolutely no down time now for me or Kym. We are determined to go all out, do whatever it takes with rehearsal and practice to win. I’ve never wanted something so much in my life. It’s taken me over. I want to win it. We want that trophy so badly. We’re only two weeks away now before knowing who is in the finals.
“I’ve become consumed by it. I want to dance even more. I’m going to teach my wife, Debbie, ballroom dancing when this is all over so we can keep on dancing. I will do Broadway with it if a dancing show opportunity arises.”
Donny and Kym have started plotting some cool ideas for the freestyle they would dance if they make it to the finals. He commented: “It’s hard to believe we are now down to only five couples. It was sad to see Mark (Dacascos) and Michael (Irvin) go last week -- he was our team leader. We have become a tight family backstage, so it really is difficult as one more couple leaves us each week.”
There are solid whispers that Donny will dance one of his two dances tonight looking like Adam Ant in a cape with a mullet wig and tribal face paint! Kym also has choreographed a beautiful Viennese waltz for them. The duo was told to come up with a futuristic paso doble, and thus Donny’s curious glam rock choice.
Our other Las Vegas favorites Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel will dance the fox trot and the jive, and Las Vegas Academy graduate Derek Hough will dance the quick step and another futuristic paso doble.
Tonight it will be unknown, until the last moment, if Karina Smirnoff will be able to dance with her partner Aaron Carter. She has been battling the flu all weekend, and pro dancer Chelsie Hightower has been filling in.
So it’s all come down to the five celebrities: Donny, Aaron, Kelly, Mya and Joanna Krupa, who partied here this past weekend at Jet in The Mirage (click HERE for our weekend photo report). Experts are predicting that Aaron or Kelly will be bounced off tomorrow or next week and that the finals will feature Donny, Joanna and Mya.
Meantime, it’s been confirmed that Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle will perform on tomorrow night’s show. She arrived at LAX from London over the weekend.
It was to have been kept secret until DWTS hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris revealed her appearance along with crooner Michael Buble tonight. Still secret, though, are the two songs Susan will sing. Susan became a global sensation while competing on Britain’s Got Talent.
We will tweet as the remaining five couples dance tonight and then post our spoiler-alert story with the judges’ scores shortly after the live broadcast to the East Coast is over. The finals are Nov. 24.
