* It's no secret any longer that the long-time friendship between actress Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson has turned to love -- and the two self-confessed lovers openly admit they’re planning to marry under California law. Tabloids and Internet sites have gone into an overdrive frenzy with the startling revelations this week. There’s a little guessing game going on regarding if the two will be together at the Palms this weekend. Samantha plays guest DJ with Paul Oakenfold on the turntables at Rain nightclub shortly after midnight Saturday. I’m reliably told to expect Lindsay on this trip, but if she "vanishes" to her suite you will definitely see both girls together on Nov. 7 at the rival Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace.
* In a surprising move, Adam Goldstein, known as DJ AM, a partner in the Lax nightclub at the Luxor, was expected to be released from a Georgia hospital's burn unit Friday. He is to be flown to Los Angeles tonight for continuing medical treatment. It's exactly one week to the day that a Learjet bringing him home after a South Carolina concert crashed and burst into flames.
* Criss Angel’s back-to-back weekend Vegas nightclub dates this month with Hugh Hefner’s No. 1 "Girl Next Door" may have triggered a broken romance for the Playboy King -- and accelerated "crashed dreams" of a wedding for blonde bombshell Holly Madison. Whatever has happened has certainly created dramatic changes in the lives of them all. She admitted this week: "Hef and I are not getting married! We are partners in crime." Then she added mysteriously: "Criss and I are just friends right about now. It would not be a secret if I were engaged to anyone." Holly also created more drama, revealing that while in Vegas, she and Bridget Marquardt had tried to get married -- and the hi-jinx that ensued from that will be seen on an upcoming episode of "Season 5," which premieres on E! Entertainment on Oct. 5. Here's Hef's take: "She is still my girlfriend. Now will that last? I don’t think anything lasts forever."
* Vegas plays host to a five-day royal visit from the king of the African nation of Swaziland and his 26-strong entourage. They were to arrive by private jet at McCarran on Friday. Their schedule here is classified as top secret, but the Secret Service will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* The hotties and hunks from "Sunset Tan" take over the Palms all weekend long as part of the season two finale. The blonde beauties and gleaming guys host Friday’s Ditch pool party and Saturday night they honor a "meet and greet" with fans at the Moon nightclub atop the Fantasy Tower. Then Sunday night at the Playboy Club the season finale will be screened with a special viewing party.
* Dining at separate tables in Rao’s at Caesars Palace was singer Donny Osmond after his Flamingo show across the Strip, and Ashley Olsen, who is in town with boyfriend Justin Bartha as he shoots scenes for the new "Hangover" movie at Caesars. Nearby at star chef Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill, actress Heather Graham dined with other actors from the "Hangover" flick.
* "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno will be in town for two days of topical headline comedy at the Mirage.
* Miss USA 2007 Rachel Smith, who starred on Donald Trump’s reality show "Pageant Place," shrugs off her duties for Oprah Winfrey long enough to host at The Bank nightclub in the Bellagio.
* "The Hills" star Lauren "Lo" Bosworth celebrates her birthday dinner with family and friends at the Tao restaurant and then moves upstairs to dance the night away at the Tao nightclub in the Venetian. Meanwhile, fellow The Hills star Audrina Patridge will be the bikini starlet at the Wet Republic pool party in MGM. She’s also celebrating the "Into the Blue" sequel and her horror flick debut in "House on Sorority Row."
* Pop sensation Aubrey O’Day, from the all-girls group Danity Kane, hosts at the new Christian Audigier nightclub in Treasure island -- and she’s certain to electrify in his dazzling designer duds.
* "Queen of all media" and fellow gossip guru Perez Hilton kicks off a star-studded weekend in the Prive nightclub at Planet Hollywood.
* The entire cast of NBC's "Chuck" will celebrate the start of its new TV season at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace. Stars Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin, Yvonne Strahovski, Sarah Lancaster, Julia Ling, Ryan McPartlin, Scott Krinsky and Mark Lawrence all will be on hand with creator Chris Fedak for the premiere party.
