Like magic: Criss and Holly make their romance official

Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil hold a press conference Friday in preparation for the premiere of "Believe."

* Criss Angel and Holly Madison made it official that they are seriously dating, and their romance has gone public. Criss had told me that he and the blond Playboy beauty planned to walk the black carpet together -- arm in arm -- just an hour before the curtain went up on the world premiere of his new Cirque du Soleil show "Believe" at The Luxor. And that's exactly what happened. Holly watched the show with her "The Girls Next Door" co-star Bridget Marquardt and Criss’s mom and aunt but then be back on the illusionist’s arm for the gala poolside party afterward. Criss promised to talk to me about their new love match, but he assured me earlier this week that it’s not a publicity stunt. He finally admitted that “it’s the real thing,” and that the rumors of their long series of weekend dates since her breakup nearly three months ago from 82-year-old Playboy king Hugh Hefner were in fact true. Holly even told me on the patio at Lavo in The Palazzo one evening, while waiting for him to complete a preview show, that Criss had invited her to be his special date for tonight’s world premiere.

* Oscar winner Adrien Brody dined at Lavo inside The Palazzo with actor Simon Rex and two other male friends. Out in the Lavo lounge, movie superstar Dan Aykroyd passed out taste samplings of his new Crystal Head pure vodka to friends talking about its launch. Upstairs in the nightclub, Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh enjoyed his Grey Goose vodka at a dance-floor table with a large group of cast and crew here filming his unscripted improv flick titled "The Girlfriend Experience." Father-son poker princes Doyle and Todd Brunson work in the new "Real Deal" poker show at The Venetian where insult comic Vinny Favorino hosts, so when they had time off, they went to see his main show in Bugsy’s Theater club in the Flamingo.

* My neighbor, Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil, keeps the Halloween festivities rolling along when he guest hosts at Prive in The Planet Hollywood casino resort. Meanwhile, next door at the sister Lavo nightclub in The Palazzo, Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am will be guest DJ for actress Amy Smart as she hosts a Get Out the Vote party.

Dennis Haskins

* My pal, actor Dennis Haskins, who played headmaster Mr. Belding on the hit TV series "Saved by the Bell" for several years, will host a wrap-it-up Halloween party at Body English nightclub in The Hard Rock after his costumed dinner at Robert De Niro’s AGO restaurant there.

* Rapper, hit singer and now actor Nelly will play host when he celebrates his birthday and blows out the candles at the new Lavo boutique nightspot in the Palazzo.

* Two-time $1 million winner Justin McBride will celebrate his retirement from the all-action sport at the Silverton with modern country music group Sterns County 17. Justin was the first pro bull rider to earn more than $5 million in winnings over his successful 10-year career. Now the former UNLV student, who won a rodeo scholarship, will retire to his working ranch with 250 heads of cattle in Oklahoma.

* Former Danity Kane bad girl Aubrey O’Day will celebrate her screamtastic night hosting a “fangin’ vampire” bash at the Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM. She’ll be “guarded” by a bevy of vicious vampiresses.

Tila Tequila

* Torrid temptress Tila Tequila will celebrate her birthday as part of the Halloween madness and mayhem at the new Christian Audigier nightclub at the T.I.

* Sexy pop personality and actress Carmen Electra will add her sultry style to the inaugural ROK Vegas party at the New York-New York casino resort. Her rocker fiancé, guitarist Rob Patterson, formerly of Korn, will spin a guest DJ set at the Roktober 31 bash.

* Korn rocker Jonathan Davis will give a special performance at the LAX Halloween party in the Luxor -- and doubtless some of the costumed characters from Criss Angel’s opening night "Believe" party will straggle in there before dawn.
