Criss Angel with Lucky the Rabbit.

* Thousands of Criss Angel “loyals” and fans are expected to jam-pack the Luxor on Friday as the world’s media gathers with showbiz stars from Vegas and across the country for the glittering gala premiere of his new Cirque du Soleil show "Believe." Additional police and security will be on hand to control the anticipated crowds -- many of them dressed in bizarre and magical Halloween costumes. I’m reliably told that more than $1 million is being spent on the mind-blowing after-party at the Luxor pool after the show!

Even more celebrities have RSVP’d for the “Party of the Year” being thrown by Cirque founder Guy Laliberte and Luxor President Felix Rappaport. They now include beloved illusionist Siegfried Fishbacher, "Lost" stars Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan, "Mad Men" actress Christina Hendricks, "CSI: NY" and "CSI: Miami" stars A.J. Buckley and Johnathan Togo, "Wedding Crashers" actor Keir O’Donnell, ex-boxer Mike Tyson, and Strip headliner Marie Osmond. More than 500 photographers and video cameramen will fight for space alongside radio, Internet and newspaper reporters to cover the magical night!

* Socialite and showbiz stunner Paris Hilton has always been loyal to her first friend in Vegas, hotel tycoon George Maloof. Her appearance at the glittering 2001 opening gala at his Rain nightclub at the Palms was the start of a seven-year run of appearances, nightclub hosting and party celebrations in our valley. Paris has always been loyal to her friends and, in a unique toss of her tresses that she always has done at the AMP Salon there, she’s included a tiny shout-out to the Palms in her new video “Paris for President” singing the line sneakily, “At the Palms chilling with the martini."

* Pop idols the Jonas Brothers were on the Strip last night – but ran for their lives. No, the screaming wasn’t from rabid teenage fans who spotted them! It was because Joe and Nick went through the Screamers haunted house on the bridge outside the New York New York hotel casino, and were scared and shaken up by the bloody chainsaws used at the end of the ‘show’ maze! “They ran for their own lives,” one spywitness told me this morning. “It’s a really scary and horrific haunted house that truly lives up to its name -- and the chainsaw effect is incredibly lifelike and frightening.”

* Legendary movie star and bluesman Dan Aykroyd will host an exclusive "meet and mingle" tasting of his brand new Crystal Head Vodka at Carey Hart’s Wasted Space rock lounge inside the Hard Rock Hotel early this evening. The actor, behind such comedic classics as the Blues Brothers, Ghostbusters and Trading Places, has become a force in the liquor industry: He is the Canadian distributor of Patron Tequila and also owns his own winery.

Jillian Beyor

*Brunette bombshell and Playboy’s 2008 Model of the Year, Jillian Beyor, took in the new sensational music and dance show Raw Talent Live at the Sahara as part of her 23rd birthday celebrations on the Strip. She insisted on meeting the sexy dancers afterward to tell them how much she enjoyed their work.

*The new Sushi Samba restaurant at the Palazzo has become a favorite for the "Entourage" cast -- they decided to play bartenders and servers on their last visit here. Now comes word that other fans and foodies can learn the fine art of maki-making and sake tasting at the hotspot. Starting the day after the election, they'll welcome something completely different: there’s a rare opportunity in a two-hour Sushi+Sake 101 course to become a "master sushi chef” and also learn everything there is to know about sake from Vegas’ only female master sake sommelier, Tiffany Dawn Soto.

*Professional poker player, Daniel Negreanu enjoyed dinner at LAVO in the Palazzo. He’s a confirmed vegetarian and he discovered Chef Ludo Lefebvre’s menu overflowing with goodies from which he picked the Eggplant Parmesan as his main course. At the adjoining table, Verdine White of Earth Wind and Fire and his group ordered up tomato soup, the eggplant, sea bass and chocolate bread pudding while nearby NFL star Junior Seau, his wife and friends enjoyed the bruschetta, Kobe sliders, lamb quesadillas and beef kabobs.
