Celebs help make poker show the ‘Real Deal’

* It was an all-star Hollywood turnout for the battle against the world’s 10 best poker players. Veteran TV producer Merv Adelson premiered his new "Real Deal" interactive entertainment poker show at The Venetian Tuesday night and had the ultimate VIP cast from both worlds.

On hand for the red-carpet walk into Wayne Brady’s theater were former "Miami Vice" star Don Johnson, Robert Wagner with his wife, Jill St. John, comedians Bob Newhart and Tim Conway, singer Steve Lawrence and the new show’s host, Vinnie Favorito. Venetian/Palazzo chairman Sheldon Adelson, his wife, Miriam Adelson; his CEO, Bill Weidner and wife, Lynn; and his president Rob Goldstein and his wife, Cheryl, all attended and watched the card action from the front row stageside. Singer Clint Holmes -– who headlines at the Suncoast this coming weekend -- and his wife, Kelly, were also at the show.

They were joined by the princes of poker Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Todd Brunson, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Gavin Smith, Scott Nguyen and WSOP chip leader Dennis Phillips, plus poker princesses Jennifer Harman and actress Jennifer Tilly.

* "America's Got Talent" winner Neal Boyd and runner-up Eli Mattson attended Amazing Jonathan’s macabre comedy magic show at the Harmon theater alongside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile. Meanwhile, Nigel Lythgoe of “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance” fame got so carried away with the meal and the music at Café Martorano at the Rio that when chef Steve Martorano played, DJ Nigel danced at his table with hostess Janice to the “Run Around Sue” oldies hit.

* Hometown boxing champion Oscar de la Hoya’s niece, Daisy, wound up a finalist on "Rock of Love 2" and now VH1 has cast her in her own reality show dating spin-off, "Daisy of Love." She will be at the Rok Vegas nightclub inside the New York New York casino hotel next week hosting a casting call to pick her lineup of romantic hopefuls.

* On Thursday, the cast of the "Saw 5" horror flick will be at Planet Hollywood for its world premiere -- and then cast members will party afterward at the Prive nightclub there.

* Actor Charlie Sheen from "2 1/2 Men" will make a rare hosting appearance at Prive this Saturday and Paris Hilton will be there Nov. 6 for the premiere of her movie "Repo! The Genetic Opera."

Tila Tequila

* MTV reality vixen Tila Tequila will host the grand opening of the new T&T restaurant at the Luxor. Magician Nathan Burton, Luxor headliner Carrot Top, the handsome hunks of Thunder From Down Under and the gorgeous girls of Fantasy will all be on the red carpet. Top chef Richard Sandoval created the flavorful menu for the unique Tacos & Tequila mod-Mex high-energy rock ‘n’ roll-flaired eatery.

* Baltimore Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller partied at LAX nightclub in the Luxor but stuck to Fiji water and cranberry juice while he and friends danced the night away to the master mixes of DJ Hollywood.

* Playboy model of the year 2008’s Jillian Beyor hosts her late-night birthday bash at the Rok Vegas nightclub in the New York New York resort casino.
