A federal lawsuit seeks to wipe out the long-held tradition of allowing Nevada voters to vent their spleens by casting a vote for “none of these candidates,” saying the selection disenfranchises voters who make that choice on their ballots. The suit, posted at right, was filed by local law firm Snell and Wilmer, but Michael T. Morley, listed as seeking to be co-counsel, is a DC lawyer who served in ...

On Friday, unbeknownst to most (or all) of the Nevada media, state GOP Chairman Michael McDonald sent a thoroughly bizarre news release to the Utah media in which he lashed out at Carl Wimmer, the ex-lawmaker who came to Las Vegas thinking he had a job and left a day later assailing the chairman and the organization formerly known as the Nevada Republican Party.
