Bishop Gorman president to Culinary: Station Casinos will accommodate your protest if you don’t disrupt our dinner

In a letter to Culinary chief D. Taylor, Bishop Gorman President John Kilduff says he wants to work with the union to ensure tonight's massive rally to deliver petitions to Station Casinos management does not interfere with the Catholic school's annual fundraiser at Red Rock Resort.

Kilduff, in the letter, tells Taylor he is willing to work "with your organization to find a way for you to conduct your demonstration in a manner which will not adversely impact our most important annual fundraising event," known as the Knight of the Gael. "Specifically, if you agree, we can work with your representatives and representatives of Station Casinos to ensure that our guests can enter and leave the facility without being delayed or inconvenienced by the demonstrators."

Sounds fair. My guess is the Culinary will agree.

The letter is posted at right.

(Pet peeve alert to Gorman president: A "family foundation" is not a "who.")
