GOP poll: Tarkanian leads Horsford by six in new congressional district

Danny Tarkanian leads Steven Horsford in the race for Nevada's new congressional district, according to a poll taken two weeks ago by respected national pollster The Tarrance Group.

"This is a race that can be won," the pollster wrote in a memo.

The lead is 47-41 and shows President Obama not running that strongly in the Democratic district, only leading Mitt Romney by four percentage points. Horsford is not very well known, but has much more money than Tarkanian on hand ($591,000 to $167,000).
