Republican on Republican violence escalates in Nevada

Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 | 4:25 p.m.

A Southern Nevada supporter of Ron Paul has filed a Federal Election Complaint against the Washoe Republican Party, asking the FEC to reverse the Northern Nevada GOP's filing as a federal PAC.

The letter to the FEC, which I have posted at right and was filed by the wonderfully named Wiselet Rouzard, essentially argues that the Washoe GOP cannot separate itself from the state party by filing as a federal PAC. This filing is the latest in an internecine war with the Paul forces taking center stage, as Clark County GOP Vice-Chairman Carl Bunce, who previously raised this issue, ran the Paul campaign here.

We will have Bunce and Washoe GOP Chairman Dave Buell, who surely had the blessing of the National Republican Senatorial Committee to make this move to help funnel money to help Sen. Dean Heller, on "Face to Face" tonight to discuss how all of this helps elect candidates.
