In an attempt to inoculate himself after his comments about relating to African-Americans against a black opponent in comments to the RJ's editorial board, congressional hopeful Danny Tarkanian may have gone a little too far last week to a GOP club.

I know we’ve got them really scared. And I’m talking about the Democrat Party and Horsford. They are so scared that yesterday I had an interview with the Review-Journal and in the interview with the Review-Journal they asked, “Well, why do you think you can win?” And I said hey, we’re going to go after every single vote in our district. We’re not going to give Horsford one easy vote. We’re going to go after (unintelligible) as well as the African American community. (Unintelligible) We’ve done a lot of good things for them. Does anybody dispute that? Well you know I also said that I have this basketball academy, a non-profit group, right next to my district where a lot of people who live in that district have attended (unintelligible) And I have the NAACP endorsement. (Unintelligable) So you know what they do? The Democrats? They sent out all these Tweets in minutes with all these black Democrats, state legislators and they said Danny Tarkanian made a racist comment (unintelligible)Channel 8 we had a TV series and they said “making a racist comment” but they didn’t know what the racist comment was. I’m still trying to figure out what it was. Should we not work within the black community? We could be like Steven Horsford who’s not doing anything with that community and, you know, pretend we’re black and maybe try to get some votes if that’s where it is. You know, it’s that extent that they’ve gone to.

To be racist means to hate another based soley on race or to see one race as superior to another.
I'm looking, but I don't see that here. It's getting to the point that even talking about race is called racism.

Is this it? "He's done" because of a comment about his opponents proclivity to use the race card? Puhleeze Dems! What does this "race banter" have to do with a darn thing? Will it reduce the deficit? Will it save the dollar from collapse? Will it get one unemployed person (white or black) a new job? Will it save one house from foreclosure? Wake up people! Horsford still endorses every nonsensical, wasteful government program that has been tried over the last four years and has caused this country to be on the brink of economic collapse and all the press and a few clueless people want to do is debate whether Tark was insensitive in his remarks? Seriously? Is there any other family in Nevada that has been more open to promoting equality, both socially and economically, for African-Americans than the Tarkanians?
Tark needs to concentrate on his financial problems. His mind is getting cloudy.
Maybe Tarik can get on Welfare, I hear Sandoval will give him a WAIVER. Dean Heller and his pot grower/right wing radio station owner friend can go to the Romney Miami event hosted by the convicted cocaine dealer, and Ensign and Gibbons can bring the BABES. GO family values Republicans!!!
A snarky comment only qualifies as "racist" when a Republican utters it, in the exploitive minds of Democrats. This doesn't even rise to the level of Harry Reids "negro dialect" comment or Joe "GaffeMan" Bidens "clean" comment about Obama, things the Democrats dismissed as unimportant.
Danny has the left worried. He is going into the Westside and treating all voters as equally important.
That scares the hell out of Democrats.
Wait a sec! Horsford is pandering when he talks about the latino community, the dream act, and immigration which he has done NOTHING about to say nothing of his abysmal record of helping in the black community? Shocked! SHOCKED I SAY, to find there is gambling in this here establishment!
