The National Republican Senatorial Committee is heralding President Obama's visit to Las Vegas on Monday with a scintillating web video that uses some classic hits already used on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (and his new "private sector jobs" instant classic) and Senate hopeful Shelley Berkley (that New York Times story on her husband's business), along with a gut shot from ex-Mayor Oscar Goodman lambasting the president for his much-hyped "don't go to Vegas" remarks.
"The Berkley-Reid-Obama disaster" And you can tell this is more about the pivotal Senate race: The last shot is not of Obama or Reid, but of Berkley.
It's quite the montage.

No doubt, President Obama mis-calculated the severity, taking office during a period many of us were losing our jobs, mainly from a lack of demand here in the USA and the outsourcing of jobs to China. The Brush administration, with help from democrats, promoted US companies to move offshore using tax-breaks and an underlining strategy by special interest to break the Unions here in the USA.
What is certain, right now-today, is the special interest is not fighting for, or concerned about the middle class.
Through all of President Obama efforts in moving the ecomony forward, we have not seen anything, or any help from the Republicans! None!
Independent voters are taking note! After all, neither party's base can elect a president, you need independent voters.

The worst recession in 70 years and Obama didn't fix it fast enough? The only action taken by Republicans to turn the economy around is give tax breaks to the wealthy and try to prevent new regulations on Wall Street, because they want another shot at pirating the economy for profit.

This lunatic and his counterparts lied to Ameria and started a war that has killed tens of thousands,maimed hundreds of thousands and left America bankrupt, and that is not counting his many failed business policies that benefited his wealthy friends and special interests while ignoring the 99% of hard working America who for the most part paid the supreme price for his war.
Soon after that America wisely voted down a mentally unfit Senator from Arizona as president and his failed choice for a running mate, a failed governor who could not finish her term as governor because of ethics violations.
Since then President Obama has been trying to right the wrongs of America while dealing with a corrupt,extremist,obstructionist Republican Congress that has adopted a agenda of looking out for special interst groups, the wealthy and themselves while ignoring the 99% of Americans, who by the way pay thier freight.
Now take your meds,go sit down,shut up and wait for Rush or right wing hate and fear mongering radio to give you your next talking points.

How many jobs were created during bush's two terms? Answer: 1.3 million by 8 = 140 thousand jobs per year he barely created ten thousand job a month. It's like "Obama ruined our economy".
It's like "Obama ruined Las Vegas's economy".

Asking people that have been enjoying TAX CUTS for these past ten years, and that have also taken full advantage of government handouts (and then complained to the high heavens that "Obama is spending us into oblivion") is not analogous with 'resenting millionaires & billionaires'.
Especially when many of the millionaires & billionaires are in full agreement with the President on the subject.
The Dem's had two years of complete control and all they could do was spend. No plan, no ideas, just spend.

Once again, I am just tired of all this. Congress, both Republicans and Democrats over the last 40 years are to blame for this mess, with the help of each and every President working together with the Federal Reserve and the Treasury to increase the power and money they have at the expense of nearly everyone else.
If trillions were to be spent bailing out the financial institutions, why not give the bailout money to those who were in debt to the financial institutions, with the requirement that such funds had to be used to pay down the debt?
Banks would have been paid off on their loans, people would have less debt and the economy would have been free to grow. Of course, that can't happen in a capitalistic society gone wrong...those responsible had to keep things going for themselves, and that is exactly what they did.
So now what? We must institute a constitutional amendment that anyone elected to Congress or the White House (include VP) serves one 6 year term and then they are out of national public service! We need people who govern over their entire term and not run for reelection from the moment they first get elected.
Just my 2 cents worth, and that is about all it is worth!
