Sandoval to appear at pair of Heller money events next month, with slew of big GOP names on host committee

Gov. Brian Sandoval is lending his name to two December events -- one in Reno and one in Las Vegas -- for the man he appointed to replace John Ensign in the U.S. Senate, Dean Heller.

The events, a week apart, feature host committees peppered with major donors, including Las Vegas Sands chief Sheldon Adelson (the former Rep. Shelley Berkley employer), spinmeister Sig Rogich (guess his pal Harry Reid couldn't get him to defect two cycles in a row!), health care pioneer Tony Marlon, gamer/developer Tony Marnell, gambler/developer Billy Walters, developer Ed Roski, entrepreneur Blake Sartini, IGT's Chuck Mathewson and ex-Rep. Barbara Vucanovich.

Many more, too, as you will see from the invites at right. Nice show of strength for the senator, who was badly thrashed by Berkley in the third quarter.
