That's the gist of a missive Sharron Angle, congressional hopeful and failed U.S. Senate candidate, sent out today. It is redolent of her bitterness and flailing over the 2010 loss to Harry Reid as she attacks Secretary of State Ross Miller, both parties, the media and "dirty money." It is a remarkable fundraising solicitation, but says nothing about whether she has changed her mind about running as an independent (UPDATE: The deadline for independents has passed, as I pointed out last week. But I wonder if an argument could be made to extend it if high court upholds the lower court.) if the court case doesn't go her way.
Here it is:
It's been a great couple of weeks for expensive attorneys. The Nevada Republican Party, the Nevada Democrat Party, and the state of Nevada all are paying through the roof for their own so that they can get their way in the upcoming special election.
The Democrat Secretary of State in Nevada (the same one who said that Harry Reid could bribe voters with food and gift cards) wants his attorneys to make sure Republicans are forced into a bitter multi-candidate special election to make it easier for a Democrat to win.
The Nevada Republican Party wants its attorneys to make sure that a small handful of their lackeys can choose who the Republican nominee will be – not the voters.
The Nevada Democrat Party is working in concert with the Secretary of State knowing that chaos in the situation breeds additional advantage for their victory.
I just want YOUR continued support.
I want to finish what we've started and represent Nevada's 2nd Congressional district. While these groups continue to fight, I'm amassing a financial war chest because as soon as the're done spending their money on their expensive attorneys, they are going to combine their efforts against us. They don't want you to have a real grassroots Republican representing you in Congress- they want their hand-picked establishment drone.
Will you support me to make sure I am equipped to fight back?
Without your support, we will either get a liberal Democrat or a Republican who might as well be one. But your $25, $35, $50 or $75 contribution will make a huge difference.
It's amazing what lengths politicians will go to maintain power. Whether it was Harry Reid's deceit, the media's half-truths and lies supported by tens of millions in dirty money, or power-grabbing from our own Republican establishment here in Nevada, they will stop at nothing to silence our voice.
But we can fight back together. Will you join me today? We can win and be the true conservative if we work together!

P.S. The final decision from the courts about how this race will be handled should be handed down soon. Once that happens this race will begin in earnest. Sharron is NOT establishment? How many years was she in the Assembly? She will vote for something, but then not vote to fund it. Go Figure. I have been conservative longer than Sharron, NEVER a democrat. She will put on what ever face is popular that year. She is a loser. I want to thank her for giving us Harry back. Is Scientology funding this race? (She removed all her Scientology associates from her web page.) Kinda like Obama and Rev Wright.

Apparently Ralston does not read the papers. About a month ago Angle was quoted as saying she would only run as a Republican. Believe that means she won't run as an independent.
Looks like the Republican party is trying to skew the results so they can appoint Amodei.....Would that be what Smith is working for??
She's right about one thing. It has been great for attorneys generating billable time.
Sandogibbons could have appointed someone other than Heller and avoided this entire expensive mess.
Begging for money. Slamming all the people she would be shaking hands with if they were on her side. Talking about politicians like she isn't one. She is as political as the rest of em. She wouldn't be saying a word if the shoe was on the other foot.
The reason 'Everyone' is out to get her as she puts it is because they do not want her running. Not because she is so good that the world will tremble at her feet but because she comes off like a lunatic. She says things that are arrogant, offensive, racist, ignorant, greedy and she makes herself sound like she is somehow above us all. 'Privilege' and 'polite society' are no longer relevant to the actual workings of the real world.
Her ideas are radical and outdated. It 2011 not 1911. New rules, new ways to help on Earth, not just her Republican pocketbook. I wont give her any money because of my unemployment problem and she doesn't deserve it, but maybe if I have an extra chicken...
I'm at least as conservative as Ms. Angle, but I have to say that whether or not the "out to get me" allegations are true, this shtick is getting old. Frankly, it makes her sound like she has a paranoia/persecution complex. I would rather hear a positive message than a regurgitation of the Senate race.

Sharon you have been smoking the Grass again and trying to give the voters in Nevada the Root. Which part of NO don't you understand!!! The only way you will get to Washington is by bus or airplane in a vacation package. Go back on your medication watch some Oprah and Family Guy and Wapner and all will be fine.
Hopefully after she loses this time she will go away and stop her moaning and groaning...we said NO already...get the message already!!!

Sharron Angle just doesn't get it. You're a loser. We supported you once, sent you money, you lost because you didn't listen to us. Now, go away and never come back! Politics is definitely NOT your area of expertise. Just enjoy the rest of your life being the sweet, soft spoken little grandmother that you are. Politician - you aren't! Buh bye Sharron!

It's also a great week for Sharron Angle throwing it out there that EVERYONE that has any political affiliation, no matter if they are from Nevada, some other country, or even another planet, is out to nail her to a wall somewhere. Play that martyr, Sharron. It gets that money rolling in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if she is referring to the Senate race in 2010 against Senator Reid to which she lost because she is such a whacknut, but how can someone finish something, when they haven't even started yet? If the people in 2CD vote her in, they deserve the continual crapstorm she will give them as their representative. If she even chooses to represent them at all. I strongly suspect if she does win, she will do nothing but things for herself. And forget her constituents. Just like my brain dead Congressman is doing now (Heck).
It's unbelievable what lengths this power mad crazy cat lady will go to in order to try to get into some kind of political power here in Nevada. All indications demonstrate she don't care what kind of power it is. Anything. Any kind of power. Because she wants it to serve her selfish needs. Not anyone elses.
I think this letter is funny in that she's still hyper-ventilating about the loss to Senator Reid in 2010, someone who definitely represents Nevada way more capable than she could ever do even in her wildest fantasies.
I really don't care which way this CD2 election will go, but I have a pertinent question that probably a lot of voters are dying to know the answer to.

Great post @8:06am, remember though, these people will vote against their own best interests in spite of themselves.
If Sharron Angle is on the ballot, one vote for her is one vote too many. She is just another radical extremist so-called republican that offers a demagogic ideology that is just pure nothingness.
There IS a lot wrong with "the media" and "politicians", but, there is far more wrong with Sharron Angle. She should just shut up and fade away.
Sharron Angle is like herpes. Painful affliction that never goes away and can't be cured.
She is quite capable of "getting" herself.
Hey she bite the had that feeds her when she banned the media, She acts like the media is supposed to come to her beckon call and never say anything negative about her only her opponents.
Maybe she needs to have a press conference to lift the ban she put on them so they the (Media) will know that they are welcome to ask questions again.
