Only four days left of early voting and I am growing increasingly skeptical of early predictions of 50,000 voters. Total in Las Vegas between early and mail ballots is a little more than 16,000. Even if the total gets to 25,000 after Friday -- and that is not a guarantee, well over half of the voters are likely to have cast ballots before next Tuesday.
The lower the turnout, the more likely something strange could happen, although not strange enough to cause Carolyn Goodman to lose her lock on first place.
