Secretary of State Ross Miller has sent a letter to former gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid and others involved in that ploy to funnel $750,000 through shell PACs to his campaign. Miller clearly is taking this seriously and asking some pointed questions about the 90 PACs (turns out that one of the original 91 was a duplicate record). The response is due in 30 days, but my gues is Reid et. al. have already been putting stuff together.
