The attorney general has charged former Assemblyman Morse Arberry with not reporting 101 campaign contributions totaling $121,545.

The complaint, filed today and posted at right, was filed after a probe that began in October 2010 after an AG investigator met with "another law enforcement agency," presumably either the IRS or the FBI. There are six counts in the complaint but they all have to do with him being accused of filing false campaign reports.

The story was first reported by KLAS-TV's George Knapp.

  1. Donations from Big Mining, Big hotels and casinos, Insurance Industry, Nevada Energy, wonder what legislative Mr Arberry was able to pass to help his Masters?

Political contributions corrupt politicians. New legislation MUST be passed to outlaw such behavior and activities.

Unfortunately asking the foxes to lock the hen house is probably not going to happen.

As voters we can demand any candidate that is promising to represent us if elected, will sign a binding pledge with voters.
