CD2 candidate Marshall uses Amodei Red Scare ad to raise money

State Treasurer Kate Marshall has seized on rival Mark Amodei's "The Chinese are coming, the Chinese are coming" ad to make a money pitch:

He’s at it already! Mark Amodei has been the Republican nominee for less than a week, and he has already managed to conjure up plenty of outrage. His first advertisement has been referred to as “offensive,” “fear-mongering,” and “xenophobic.” Rather than focusing on the issues important to Nevada’s families, Amodei has opted to pander to the Washington fringe.

On the campaign trail, and throughout my tenure as Nevada’s Treasurer, I have talked with the people of northern Nevada and listened to their concerns. They are concerned with finding jobs and paying for their children’s college educations. These are some of the issues I have tackled as Treasurer and will continue to prioritize in Congress, while Amodei would surely continue to prioritize his right-wing pandering.

We must continue to build our war chest to fight back against these and other outrageous ads sure to come. Will you contribute $100, $75, or $50 today?

With just 2 days left until our next financial deadline, your support today will send a message, loud and clear. The voters of northern Nevada want a Representative who will stand for working families by creating jobs, controlling runaway spending, and making government perform for Nevadans, not special interests.

Thank you for all of your support!

Warmest regards,

Kate

P.S. The next 2 days are extremely critical! Please make a contribution of $100, $75, $50, or anything you can today!
