"erstwhile"? c'mon Jon...
I recall the day when business owners were smart enough to keep their mouths shut; at least in regards to their politics. Heh, I just added the GN to the list with Wynn and Venitian as places I simply won't do business with.
I know that it's no great loss to any of these entities but the fact of the matter is I won't support those who I strongly disagree with. I mean why would I add to the war chests of those trying to destroy the middle class?
vegas_tom. Who do you think the middle class work for. The people you speak of made and make the middle class and give them opportunity to be upper class. What would the middle class do without these people? Contrary to your simpleminded logic, not everyone can work for the government.
Wthout business leaders willing to risk, you don't have jobs for those that don't want the risks. You don't make any sense.
"You don't make any sense."
as someone's who has watched "trickle down" economics not work twice now I'll have to disagree with you.
or should we keep giving away to the farm so that there are fewer and fewer middle class left to see if it'll work this time?
or did you want to explain to me with your hoity attitude why taxes are at the lowest point in 60 years and the country's never been more screwed up?
go ahead -- I'll wait.
