Congratulations, governor, and here’s a few thousand to say thanks in advance: Sandoval’s post-election haul

Gov. Brian Sandoval raised more than half a million dollars from Election Day until the end of 2010, one fifth of it from MGM Resorts International and tens of thousands from the usual suspects (gaming, the garbage monopoly, developer/gambler Billy Walters).

Sandoval reported raising $676,000 in the short reporting period between Oct. 22 and Dec. 31 – it’s good to be the winner – about 80 percent of it on Nov. 2 and beyond. Some of the highlights:

  4. Wonder what all these "contributors" expect in return??? It would be a fine idea to begin tracking that, since "transparency and accountability" in government is BIG these days!

    Our new governor is putting the screws to educators and state workers, what gives with the gaming, tourist, mining, banking, healthcare, livestock, and others?

    Let's roll, Mr.Ralston, and shine more light on our leadership! Thanks for starting here, making some mention so we all can follow them.
