Gov. Brian Sandoval raised more than half a million dollars from Election Day until the end of 2010, one fifth of it from MGM Resorts International and tens of thousands from the usual suspects (gaming, the garbage monopoly, developer/gambler Billy Walters).
Sandoval reported raising $676,000 in the short reporting period between Oct. 22 and Dec. 31 – it’s good to be the winner – about 80 percent of it on Nov. 2 and beyond. Some of the highlights:

Gee, in an earlier article it was 600 million? Did the governor take a severe cut? If so he is really doing his part. Also, was any of this illegal-if not this is a non-story.
That's enough cash to begin work on a full scale model of Noah's Ark - I think it would look good in downtown Reno.
