The truth about school funding cuts in Nevada

Despite the relief after Gov. Brian Sandoval and state lawmakers extended those expiring taxes, school districts "will have significantly reduced funding in the next two years." That's the conclusion of a detailed report by the folks at Applied Analysis, who took all the different possible baselines and the complexities of how Nevada schools are funded to conclude "by any measure, these budget reductions are larger than previously imposed...."
