Like the Democrats, who field suit on Feb. 24 (that complaint posted on this blog and the new one is at right), the state GOP is preserving its options should the Legislature and governor be unable to agree on a plan.
The suit was filed by Mark Hutchison, who also is suing on behalf of the state to invalidate health care reform.

Jon needs to get up to speed on the legal jargon. The GOP did not necessarily file suit. It looks like they simply intervened as Plaintiffs in the suit that the Dems already filed. To do so requires a complaint. Interesting stuff.
