The Republicans barely ticked up Sunday in turnout percentage after a weak showing in Washoe County and a slight advantage in Clark – the GOP now leads by 2.2 percent in the total urban vote.
There are five days left in early voting, and if past is prologue, turnout will ramp up toward the end of the week. Can the Democrats hold down the GOP advantage, or will Republicans surge toward the end of the week to have a 4 or 5 point advantage?
The Republicans actually lost a tenth of a point in Washoe as the Democrats won for the first time – 993-983. Trend or blip? We’ll see in the last five days
