That's what the Nevada Taxpayers Association recommends in its new edition of "Tax Topics," a series of provocative suggestions sure to cause a stir and result in some bill drafts.
See it at right.

Don't use fancy words.
Just pass laws so businesses can cut wages and make more money for rich people.
Another screw job on the american workers.
Headline should be re-written to "NTA says Gimme gimme gimme".
Tips as wages? Why don't we just pass a law allowing the employer to take a portion of the employees tips? Oh wait, Winn already did that right? If he forces one employee to pay another with their tips, thereby reducing his wage-debt to one of the two, hasn't he done this? Not by some Nevadan's reasoning, to be sure.
And lower minimum wage so an employer can hire entry level workers? When will they understand that every single hire or fire is recorded in near real time and has been for nearly 13 years now? This means that watching these employers routinely keep their work force comprised of "entry level" workers through strategic hiring and firings is a simple matter.
Nevada has been a killing field for employers for too long, made up of junk businesses that really do NOT want educated and well trained employees.
The "Great Recession" has become an excuse to strip the American Worker of every gain made in the past 80 years.
It's a money-grab, plain & simple.
Santa Claus is coming to town with a big lump of Corporate Coal for your stocking, and you will be told to be damn grateful for it.
