Robert Holloway, who has been attacking Senate contender Sue Lowden since the 2008 GOP convention, claims to represent a group of Republicans still upset with then-Chairman Lowden's shutting down the proceedings when it looked as if the Paulites would take over. Convention boss Bob Beers and Lowden claimed the room rental was about to end, but the maneuver was widely seen as a way not to allow the Paul folks to dominate. I doubt Holloway will raise much money but he could be an annoyance.

Voting for anyone other than the "Big 2's" Favorite Son/Daughter has always been seen as "throwing your vote away".
Clinton got in office twice because of Perot.
Voting for Ron Paul (or a Ron Paul Candidate) is probably throwing your vote away because he/she won't win.
But! - why continue to vote for the lesser of 2 evils (either Republican or Democrat)?
I WILL start voting for my favorite - even if I don't believe he/she can win, because my vote will send a message.
In the famous "7-11 Southland Corporation" poll in 2000, it was found that over 50% of Americans wanted neither Bush nor Gore!
A vote for your favorite candidate "WILL SEND A MESSAGE!".
Firstly: if a large number of votes are cast for a 3rd party candidate, other dissatisfied voters will become encouraged to vote their conscience next time
Secondaly: there's a chance your candidate might win.
But most importantly, both Democrats and Republicans will be forced to deal with public opinion in their next platform.
The Republicans got caught with their pants down in 2008 (not referencing the sexual scandals). They thought America would follow the 1980's California gubernatorial campaigns wherein voters told the pollsters they'd vote for Tom Bradley but voted for George Deukmejian instead.
Short of blantantly "rigging" elections, the major parties (the Grand Old Party in particular) are going to have to start courting the moral conservatives if they want to win again.
Ron Paul will only get stronger because people now realize that compromising their convictions did not result in the lesser of 2 evils ruling the White House.
The dittoheads and Beckbrains are wrecking Republicans chances all over NY NJ CN VA etc.
I bet Harry Reid is the first to donate. Louddung is "paling" around with Sen Enswign and Gov. Gibblets.

This doc must have been electronic because your scan of the Sue Lowden letter was horrendous. Get Greenspun to cough up some of his zillions and buy a decent scanner that produces readable images.
Ron Paul is the most fascist politcian ever, Over 25 years on the goverment payroll, he is the picture of a career politcian. Corrupt and has an extreme religous agenda. In addition to the racism and homophobia Ron Paul wants one religion, one race and a church state with limited personal freedom.
Ron Paul is a REPUBLICAN from Texas advocating less rights for us and more power fior the state.
If Sue Lowden helped stop the hate and bigotry of Ron Paul, that is a plus for her.
Nick -- I'd like to see your post explaining exactly why you define Rep. Paul as "fascist."
As a standard let's start with these bits from dictionary.com -- "a person who is dictatorial or has extreme right-wing views" or "A reactionary or dictatorial person." If you propose a different definition, please cite it.
I don't see Rep. Paul fitting either definition. I understand he's actually a Libertarian who ran as a Republican to get elected. To me he made the most sense of any candidate -- takes his oath to the Constitution seriously and would reduce the federal government back to its Constitutional limits. Too bad he was shut out of all the major media debates.

His forced religion, and intolerance speaks volumes. He introduced legislation that would allow states to CRIMINALIZE homosexuality.
Ron Paul wants one religion and one race to control everything. Wants to ban a womans right to choose and let the state GOVERMENT decide.
Paul supports religion in goverment and would allow us to be taxed and the money given to churches.

Ron Paul types are why I do not support Libertarians. They claim to be one thing but in the end are FAR RIGHT bigots that want to take civil rights away and give power to churches to regulate our freedom.

What do you need? He wrote LEGISLATION to criminalize gay sex. He said Abortion is a #1 problem in America.
