That's the message of a massive, colorful mail piece sent out by the state Democratic Party, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Harry Reid re-election campaign, that arrived in mailboxes this weekend. "Powerful. Determined. Making a Difference for Nevada." That's the theme, and from Justice Sonia Sotomayor to President Obama to Harrah's executive Jan Jones to City Center workers to teachers and cops, the mailer has the pictures (and now-familiar rhetoric) to make the case.

Jan Jones and Jim Murren are terrified that Reid will turn on the gaming industry. Even Steve Wynn, in his harange of the Obama administration, exempts Reid from his criticism call him a "conservative" Democrat. Look again, Steve. Who's driving the bus on the health care vote upcoming in the Senate???

I fully support REID and am ecstatic that he is driving the Health Care bill in the Senate, he is listening to his constituents and realizes this is an historic opportunity not just for him but for ALL Dems. Yes, some ppl are squawking and angry right now but in a few years they will using it just like everyone else and wondering what took so long, just like social security and medicare.

Are Nevadans that naive? When Harry first talked about his upcoming election troubles, he didn't tout his accomplishments and make more promises.
What did he say? He told us he was planning on raising $25 million for his campaign. He told us he was planning on buying the election - that money (his) is what's most important to him.
Harry is an arrogant criminal. He deserves to be defeated in the election, then sent to prison.
