Sarah Palin's dad wrote a letter backing little Tark and the campaign sent out an email with a picture of the entire Palin clan (alas, no Levi) and a pitch to contribute. Here's Chuck Heath's letter to Nevadans:
FROM THE DESK OF CHUCK HEATH
Hello Nevadans,
My family and I would like to thank all of you who welcomed us to your beautiful state and made us feel so at home. Everywhere we went, from Las Vegas, to Reno, to the smaller towns in between, the people there made us feel like family.
It was such a pleasure to be able to travel with Danny Tarkanian and address issues that are not only affecting your state, but the entire nation as well. Danny will be a much needed breath of fresh air for Nevada. He is a very intelligent, well-spoken family man who is full of energy and ready to dedicate his life to improving the quality of life of all Nevadans. This is a stark contrast to what Harry Reid brings to the table. As outsiders, it's clear to our family that Reid has become so wrapped up in the upper echelon of DC politics that he's forgotten about the people who put him into office in the first place.
You're going to get the opposite of that with Danny Tarkanian. The people of Nevada deserve a senator who is 100% dedicated to work in their best interests. Our nation deserves it as well. This country is on a path to catastrophic debt and increased government control in our lives. You have the opportunity to help right this ship by electing Danny Tarkanian to the U.S. senate.
I would urge all Nevadans who are ready for a change to throw your support behind Danny. Please visit his website, make a financial contribution, or volunteer to do whatever you can to help him. This a crucial election Nevada. Our family knows that and it's the reason we're supporting our friend Danny. So please don't stand on the sideline and let this slip by. Jump in the game. If Danny wins this, the people of Nevada, and this country, win as well.

Who the hell cares what Sarah Palin's family loves or hates? Who the hell cares about Sarah Palin? The majority of voters didn't duh! Why is this person still in the news? She is garbage. Go home Sarah, stay there, let your husband have a try at working and you be a real mother. Finally!

Good for Chuck Heath -- the state GOP establishment has pretty much lost the trust of the conservative rank-n-file with their anti-Paul shenanigans, the Ensign affair, and overall political ineptitude & ineffective performance -- so someone like Tark or Palin stirring the pot is welcome. And while I don't know enough about Tark to say, I do know I'm not happy with the prospect of having to choose between Gibbons & Reid (Gibbons has been ineffective & I don't trust dynasties).
I just love myself some Daisy Mae Mooseburger (Sarah). Obama should prosecute Palin and TX gov. Perry for sedition. These two Benedict Arnolds wanted AK and TX to secede from our union. Oh no, they didn't plan on using their small armies (National Guard) to achieve their desired results. Sarah and Ms. Palin, are both members of a subversive AK group that is bent of AK leaving our union. What would the founders do? I already know what Gen. George Patton would do. 2012: President Sarah Palin and "veep" Louis Farrakhan. Both are seccessionists.

Now that you mentioned it:
If General George S. Patton was alive and in fighting trim today, I believe he would say "to hell with this political crap" and become our much loved leader. And, we would have no problems with Iran, North Korea or any other two bit country.
They were hanging out together a month ago, they make the rounds to the local hate talk shows.
How many of those UNLV basketball players from that Tark era got their degrees?
Talk about local hate talk shows... mred has his own and is ready to take it on the road.
We MUST throw out everyone who voted for the "stimulus" packages and anyone who votes for cap and trade, health care reform, etc moving forward! Anyone like Tark who is not a DC insider will have a huge advantage next year when even more people than today are without a job and the credit markets are still frozen, despite all those TRILLIONS the banks took in bad faith, without any accountability, from the crooked Bush admin and later Obama.
