He also vetoed bill dealing with regional planning in Washoe (says it is redundant and state intrusion into local government function, perhaps different than stealing local government money) and with ensuring standards for medical treatment of prisoners (redundant and unnecessary).

Sorry, I'm with Gibbons here. Put a group of legislators into session and they think they need to legislate something - ANYTHING!
Too many laws on the books already. More and more laws always means fewer and fewer liberties.
A governor or president who uses the veto generously is probably a wise executive.
I can honestly say Gibbons is the worst governor in Nevada History. He needs to be impeached for being such a bad governor. The only reason the domestic partner bill was vetoed is because HE doesnt believe in domestic partners. Why??? because he is a homophobe.
Override his dumb a$$! I will not have gibbons dictate the moral identity of my state.
Governor Gibbons is not someone who should be shouting from rooftops about morality.
