Man Formerly Known as Governor vetoes two labor bills

Both passed with veto-proof majorities. I have posted the veto letters at right.

  1. Gym Gibbens, Nevada's edgeyoukayshun gob'ner, is wearing himself out for nothing. These token vetoes, and the one he intends to sign next week, are the bitter icing on his sad, tilted, melting cake.
Geez Gym, can't you see the mockery you've made out of the job of Governor?

  2. gov. is a mockery and P.O.S

  3. God forbid that larger hospitals might actually have to study structure and staffing to demonstrate they are providing adequate care to patients. It is as though the Governor is grasping for things to veto, hoping one or more may stick. Or, hospital ownership companies may be big contributors to reelection campaigns...
    Status quo.

  4. This guy is something else. He has to be a yes man for some people how else did he get to be in office.

  5. I still want to know how this guy hasn't been recalled. When you start trying to veto veto-proof bills and veto ballot questions that the voters passed it's time for you to go. You don't know more than the people.

  6. Jim "read my lips" Gibbons wants to take it from the working man and the retirees.
This is much easier than having gaming and mining paying their share of taxes. Where do the campaign funds come from? The Chanmber of Commerce will find out about boycotting business. They might understand the public has a right to do business with people not involved with the Chamber.

  7. My Hero - Veto on Gov. Don's listen to these peasants, They want something for nothing.

  8. Sum Zero strikes again.
