Heller to Pelosi: Let’s chat

Related files

In one of those "I really don't care if you read this but I hope the media picks up on it or someone posts it on a blog" letters, Rep. Dean Heller asked Speaker Nancy Pelosi to talk to him about the Employee Free Choice Act.

His letter is at right.

  1. If it were printed on tiolet paper Pelosi might find a use for it.

I agree with Heller on this one, but unless the Senate Republicans can stand firm we're going to see it used as payback from Obama to the unions. What is ironic is that Reid strips e-Verify from the Stimulus package while pushing for card-check.

  2. Heller will never get his meeting with Pelosi or Obama, or if he does he will be reminded, "We Won".

The card check bill is just about paying your debts. Obama and reid owe their offices to the support and cash from the unions and this bill makes sure they get their money back.

It has nothing to due with fairness, facts, or politics. It's just about paying back what's owed.

  3. Heller to Pelosi: "Let's chat".

Pelosi to Heller: "Let's not and say we did".

  4. Nieman1:

Right on. Like it or not, that is how our political system works. Its no different than when the Republicans win with the help of the religious right, oops we better ban funding for embryonic stem cell research. I guess whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
