Elsewhere on this blog, I previously posted a letter from the National Rifle Association praising Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Not surprisingly, the Republicans were not happy about it. Thus:

One of the strongest convictions of the Republican Party is our belief in the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. Click here to read the 2nd Amendment. Many of you have recently received a letter from the National Rifle Association praising Harry Reid for his support of gun legislation. Click here to see the letter. This letter was sent despite the fact Harry Reid has consistently received an “F” rating from the Gun Owners of American, including the Gun Owners of Nevada. Harry Reid voted in favor of the enormous tax and spend stimulus bill which included anti-gun language. Reid voted in favor of legislation that expanded the amount of land covered by the National Parks gun ban. Harry voted to confirm Eric Holder as Attorney General of the United States, a gun control advocate and now, Reid is on the verge of voting for the next Supreme Court Justice who will not give a straight answer to her 2nd Amendment position. Please call the NRA office at 1-800-672-3888 and tell them that Nevadans do not support Harry Reid and his anti-gun positions!
