If you haven’t been in business and aren’t well-connected, you can’t be on the Spending and Government Efficiency Commission. Really, it’s right there in the executive order at right.

    How disappointing. It's going to take 2 years before a final report is given. It won't be in time for the 2009 Session. And even when it is due, it's conveniently in the middle of the election campaign season.

    Looks like there's no hope of government efficiency coming in this decade.
