Heck, from Iraq, calls for annual clinic inspections

State Sen. Joe Heck, a physician stationed in Iraq, has written a letter to Gov. Jim Gibbons calling for annual inspections of ambulatory surgical centers, asking the governor to convene the Nevada Academy of Health and urging the state medical board to probe doctors with interests in offending centers.
